Matt is the Regional Director of Campus Outreach Indianapolis, which is based at LifePoint. Matt and his wife, Brittanny, have been serving with COI since 2007, and have 4 children, Lily, Haddon, Emma and Kate.
Both Matt and Brittanny were directly impacted by Campus Outreach in their college days and have made it their mission to continue the ministry of reaching, building, equipping and sending college students for Christ.
Jym has served as Lead Pastor at LifePoint since 2009. His primary responsibilities include shepherding, preaching, and providing leadership and direction.
Prior to his time at LifePoint, Jym served in pastoral ministry in Illinois, on the mission field in Costa Rica and Spain, in higher education in Illinois and Florida, and in law enforcement in Dallas, Texas. He received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Psychology from Eastern Illinois University and a master’s of Divinity and a doctorate in Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jym comes from an eclectic background, having been raised the youngest child in a family of fourteen children born to Roman Catholic parents in central Illinois.
He and his wife, Dedra, have two married daughters, Hannah and Jordan, and six grandchildren (and counting). In his spare time, Jym enjoys outdoor activities and reading, primarily in the areas of history and biographies.
Tony became a Christian in 1996 at the age of 28. Shortly after his conversion, he began to serve in jail/prison ministry, as well as serving in a local church. Since 2003, Tony has served as a pastor/elder. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Ball State University in 1990 and a Master of Divinity from LAMP Seminary in 2010. Tony worked for Marsh Supermarkets for over 25 years before joining the staff at LifePoint in 2012. He is an ACBC Fellow and is the author of the books, Convinced of God’s Love: Growing in Humility and Worship and 5-P Evangelism: Loving God and Our Neighbor.
Tony’s main responsibilities at LifePoint include: biblical counseling and overseeing LifePoint’s biblical counseling ministry, evangelism and evangelism training, elder training, deacon training, teaching various classes, and occasional preaching. Tony and his wife, Dorinda, were married in 2001. They have two daughters, Anna and Leah. Tony enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, playing guitar, fishing, hiking, reading and sports.
David has been serving as the Pastor of Worship and Music at LifePoint since May of 2002, after spending 13 years as Director of Music at YouthFront, a Para-church youth ministry in the Kansas City area. He grew up mostly in southern New Mexico and then graduated from William Jewell College, a Christian school near Kansas City, Missouri.
After the Lord, the love of his life is Mary, his wife since 1992. They have three grown children, two daughters-in-law, and an amazing grand child, that they enjoy spending time with whenever they can. David also loves traveling, spending time outdoors and playing sports.
He is very energetic, loves music, and has a passion for leading others into the presence of the Lord through musical worship. The heart of David’s passion comes from Psalm 92:1 – It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High…
AJ and his wife, Angel, became members at LifePoint in 2017. During his time here, AJ has served in a number of different capacities, ranging from serving on the Finance Committee, to teaching elementary and pre-school children, to serving in the College Ministry. AJ’s primary responsibility at LifePoint is to oversee the High School Student Ministry, partnering with families to point students toward a deeper relationship with Christ.
Prior to joining the pastoral staff at LifePoint in 2019, AJ worked as an Investment Officer in the banking industry where he spent 16 years focusing on retirement planning and wealth management. AJ graduated from Butler University earning a bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2005. AJ and Angel were married in 2007 and have since been blessed with seven children: Katie, Ari, Evangeline, Selah, Lincoln, Eden, and Hosanna. AJ enjoys spending time with his family, running, playing sports, coaching, and exploring the great outdoors!
Jared and his wife, Whitney, were married in 2008 and have four school-age children: Tucker, Piper, Brooks, and Blair. He enjoys hunting and fishing when he has the time, but most of all he enjoys being with his family and exploring new places and having new adventures together. Prior to joining the staff at LifePoint, the Laws served at Twin Lakes Camp. Jared also has past experience in pastoral ministry working with students and in Worship Arts. Jared received his bachelor’s degree in Communications at IUPUI, and a master’s degree in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Nate and his wife, Misty, have been attending LifePoint since 2007. During this time, Nate has served in a number of different capacities, ranging from leading a Life Group, to leading Adult Discipleship classes, to teaching through books of the Bible during Sunday morning classes. Nate graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Physical Therapy in 2010, and completed a Master of Divinity degree through the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in December of 2017. After completing his Master of Divinity, he joined LifePoint’s pastoral staff, and his primary responsibilities here at LifePoint include overseeing Adult Ministries, and providing oversight and development of ongoing curriculum. Nate is currently working on his Doctor of Philosophy through Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
The Lord has blessed Nate and Misty with four wonderful boys, Elijah, Noah, Josiah, and Ezrah, who keep their house hopping all the time. Nate enjoys spending time with his family, running, reading (any suggestions are welcome, good suggestions are preferable), and teaching in many different capacities.
Mary has been our Children’s Director since March 2008. Mary’s goal is to partner with parents to instill Biblical truths. She has a passion to help children connect with their teachers as they learn how to worship the Lord in every aspect of their lives.
Mary met her husband Jeff on a blind date, and they were married in 1990. She received her elementary education degree from Anderson University and taught for five years before staying at home to start their family. They have three grown children, Nicole (and son-in-law, Antonio), Chad, and Christina, and a granddaughter. Also pictured is Vlad, Ukranian student that Veal’s are hosting as he finishes school in US. Mary enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
